Crow Women: Pagan Music to Honor the Goddess
The Crowimmin are a group of women who have been celebrating the turning of the seasons of the year and of our lives together since the early 1990’s. We love to sing Pagan songs together, and over the past few years we've gotten more and more serious about it. That has led to live performances, to presenting chant workshops, and now to this CD. We have created this recording to share with you some of the music we use in our own ceremonies. The ever-changing spelling of Crow-womb-one is intentional. Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. We believe in living and spelling in the moment, so try never to spell our name twice in a row the same way!
For our circle’s oracle, The Crow Deck, we create a few cards each year—the deck grows as we add new images to it. Among these are the cards that represent each of us. In creating this CD, we have drawn on the qualities captured by our cards:
